Dr. Barnett is a nationally recognized human resources scholar-practitioner with more than 15 years of experience across all major HR functions.

With research interests including the efficacy of career and employee development programs and the affect of accents and regional dialects on employment and employability, Dr. Barnett brings his pedagogical approach to meeting the most complex needs of organizations and individuals alike.

As a prior Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for one of the top 100 largest cities in the United States, Dr. Barnett proudly offers clients world class support backed by industry and academic experts and practical application to curate people centered, data driven outcomes. “Dr. B,” as he is affectionately called by his students, has taught at each collegiate level; technical/trade, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral.
